Getting views that really showed Lobato trestle were not easy, because the area below it was densely covered with trees and brush. There was no easy way to get down to the bottom, and once there it was not easy to find a view of the bridge through the trees. But as this image shows it could be done. In 2000 I was involved in running the railroad and spending a lot of time in Chama. That gave me plenty of time to explore and dedicate an afternoon to a singe picture. This was one result.
