October 1992. John Craft's two weekends of "The Ultimage Narrow Gauge Charter" were probably the most authentic charters run on the C&TS. Long freight trains were run between Chama and Antonito and return with cars properly blocked to reflect Rio Grande practice, and engines properly placed. It was a "grande" recreation of the old days.
